Cancellation & Payment Policy
UPDATED 01.01.2025
At Top Priority Horses, we believe in respect — for our time, your time, and most importantly, our horses. This is not just a hobby; it’s how we make a living and keep our barn running. To ensure fairness for all riders and smooth scheduling, please read and follow the policy below:
Cancellations & No-Shows
-
24-Hour Window: Lessons canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time are subject to a 50% lesson charge if the spot cannot be rebooked.
-
No-Call / No-Shows: Missed lessons without notice will be charged the full lesson cost (100%) and must be paid before future scheduling.
-
Repeated Cancellations: Riders who repeatedly cancel or miss lessons will have all bookings paused until:
-
Outstanding balances are paid.
-
Future lessons are prepaid at least one week in advance.
-
Late Arrivals
-
Lessons begin at the scheduled time. If you arrive late, your lesson will still end on time, and the full cost applies.
-
During extreme heat, arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in cancellation, and the full lesson charge will still apply.
Payments
-
New & Non-Regular Riders: Payment is required up front before scheduling.
-
Payment Due: All lesson payments are due at the beginning of the lesson.
-
Outstanding Balances: Any unpaid balances must be cleared before additional lessons can be booked.
Weather & Horse Health
The only times lessons may be canceled last-minute by Top Priority Horses are due to:
-
Unsafe weather conditions
-
Horse health concerns
In these cases, you will not be charged, and we will work to reschedule your lesson.
By respecting this policy, you help us run lessons smoothly, provide the best care for our horses, and keep our barn a place where riders can grow and thrive.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding!
